Kaela

Kaela is a Proficient PBS Practitioner and Developmental Educator who has worked as a PBS Practitioner for three years and previously worked within the education system. Kaela has worked with a wide range of individuals to provide specialist PBS services.

Some of Kaela’s interest areas include autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disability (ID), complex trauma, borderline personality disorder (BPD), emotional regulation, social skills and relationships, sexual health and sexualised behaviours, executive functioning and self-esteem, and sensory and sleep interventions, and has lived experience as a neurodiverse female.

Kaela holds a Bachelor of Disability Studies and a Bachelor of Education (Middle Secondary/Special Education). Kaela has engaged in a range of professional development opportunities (including mental health trainings) and have experience supervising core PBS practitioners.

Kaela is a positive, neuro-affirming individual that applies person-centred and holistic principals to ensure that those she works with have a voice and live the life they want to live. Increasing the quality of life of her participants and building meaningful therapeutic relationships is at the centre of everything she does.

Kalea loves anything Harry Potter, as well as reading, history, drinking coffee, and spending time with her Golden Retrievers Millie and Loki.

Joanne Morgan

Jo’s journey with people has led her to her current role as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. Jo enjoys engaging with others and developing trusting reciprocal relationships and is privileged to be able to share their journeys with them as they realise their goals through developing personal capacity, resilience and focussing on identifying and building on existing strengths.

Jo has significant experience working with people from diverse backgrounds providing holistic supports to assist her clients in their recovery journeys. Jo has held service management roles within the Disability Employment Services, sector, Coordinator roles within biopsychosocial recovery programs, has spent time living on the APY Lands delivering Family Mental Health Support Services and has supported young people living in Residential Care within a trauma informed therapeutic lens as a Clinician.

Jo holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Master of Social Work.  Jo has developed and delivered mental health awareness training programs across Australia and has developed and delivered numerous in-house training programs for both staff and clients and enjoys learning new things.

Jo enjoys spending her spare time with her children, grandchildren and her dog Toby.

Joanna Hodgson

Joanna supports clients with both psychosocial and physical disabilities as a Level 2 and 3 Support Coordinator.

Joanna has a Bachelor of Nursing and has previously worked as a Clinical Manager specialising in complex care, palliative care, and behaviour management, as well as working with clients with varying needs and from different backgrounds and cultures to maintain their independence and confidence.

Joanna has lived experience and can empathise with the challenges of disabilities and mental health and is in her final year of completing her Graduate Diploma in Psychology, which is providing a better understanding and knowledge of assisting each client in the most positive way for the best outcome. Joanna has an interest in all areas of disability and loves to research new possibilities!

Joanna enjoys watching football, going to Adelaide Striker’s cricket games, going away caravanning whenever possible, and spending time with her family.

Jordan Poulton
As a support worker prior and in between having her children, Jordan has a range of experience working and supporting clients from many backgrounds, including acquired brain injuries, paraplegia, mental health, Huntington’s, M.S, Parkinson’s, ASD, ADHD, Aged Care and also lived experience with her son.

Jordan holds a Diploma in Community Services and Case Management. Certificate 3 in Aged Care and is very close to completing a Pregnancy, Birth and Postpartum Doula course.

Jordan wants the absolute best for those who she supports and always endeavours to make them feel supported and valued at all times.

She enjoys spending time with her husband, 4 children and going for walks by the beach.

Clare Binsley
Client Services Manager

Clare is our Client Services Manager who also supports people with both psycho-social and physical disabilities within Level 2 and 3 Support Coordination.

Clare has experience working with people from a multitude of backgrounds including those within the care of the DCP, Australian First Nations People and those with complex care needs including end of life care.  Clare has a background working with clients face to face within the employment support sector helping them reach their goals and overcome barriers to daily living.

Clare has extensive case management and leadership experience within the NDIS, Not for Profit and Government department and she leads our team of support coordinators.

Clare has an educational background in team leading, mental health, learning difficulties, information-advice and guidance and has spent many years working within the UK and Australia.  Clare is a dual citizen who can understand and empathise with the challenges of engaging in a community and building a strong social netwok. Clare enjoys getting out with nature with her dogs and spending time with friends and family.

Emma Lloyd
Founder, Managing Director

Emma is an accomplished social worker, wellbeing coach and rehabilitation counsellor with over 13 years experience providing case management, coordination and assessment within disability, Department of Veterans’ Affairs, workers compensation insurance and employment services both in Australia and the UK.  Emma is committed to supporting people with complex needs to improve their wellbeing and resilience and make positive life
changes.  Emma is also a passionate animal lover and has completed multiple canine myotherapy and dog training qualifications. She shares her life with three gorgeous Rhodesian Ridgebacks, a flock of 4 chickens and a rooster called Colin. She also raises Monarch butterflies to be released into the wild to help increase the dwindling population in South Australia.

Heath Nash
Clinical Support Coordinator

Heath has an extensive medical background ranging from aged care, disability and mental health to acute and emergency care.  He has run multiple facilities as a director of nursing and traveled throughout Australia consulting in the management and improvement of care standards for some of our most vulnerable populations.  Heath ran a dementia care unit that actively crusaded to change the stigma around dementia, assisting the residents to live with dignity. Heath is therefore passionate about being a voice for those who cannot
speak for themselves. Heath also loves motorsports and hiking with his wife and three dogs and is also well known for his Hawaiian shirts which regularly brighten up our day!
